Deformers Hat Head
Hello all!
I'm relatively new to Daz, I've always been a Poser user, but quite frankly I now see the benefits of using Daz over Poser in many instances. Of course, I don't have Poser 2014 yet but still.
Anyhow, I just purchased Lyrra's Hat Head deformer from the shop and am having issues with it. I created a character with Genesis and utilized SAV's Spartacos hair from renderosity for him because it's a perfect match for the character.
I've got the hair where I want it, but when I add a hat the hair obviously pokes through.
Lyrra's package seemed ideal because it's got a universal mode along with all the 4th gen character fits.
Anyhow, I've tried using the few tutorials I could find out there in direction relation to not only some of her packages but others as well and can't seem to get any of the magnet dials to attached to the hair in Daz. Can anyone provide some direction? I don't want to return the product because I believe it could be very beneficial to me, but at the same time I don't want to waste my money if it's never going to work.
Thanks, let me know!

I think that product works on V4 with magnets. I don't think it works with Genesis.
It says it's universal?
Plus, the hair is M4, conformed to Genesis.
The pose files themselves don't attach magnets in that product. It is a universal product, and I've used it on various figures, including Genesis. You need to load the appropriate D-Form clusters for the hat and hair you are trying to mix, and then parent the cluster to the head bone in the hair item. (At least this is what I've done when using it on Genesis.) Now open the Tabs->D-Form window if you don't have it. With the hair selected, click on the 'Add node' button in the D-Form window and add all the D-Forms from the cluster(s). Now you should see them affecting the hair, and you can move the cluster around to fine tune the hair going under the hat.
