AVG always says Poser is triyng to connect to the internet and I usually block it because AVG reccomends it for some reason? So why is it trying to connect to the internet?
also sorry for two posts so close together
Comments
1) Poser checks your local network (which many guard programs will see as an internet check) to ensure you're only running one copy of Poser on that network with the same serial code.
2) Poser checks for software updates.
3) Poser can render in a separate process using sockets for communication. Again, some software detects this as an internet use.
4) Both Flex and the AIR Library can also cause firewall software to flare up as it uses ports to communicate to software.

6) to open a portal for Lord Aglathar, the Destroyer of Souls to traverse the bridge from the Realms of the Crystalline Darkness in which he has slumbered for ages measuring uncountable, into the mortal realm where he will feed upon the Weakness of Man and consume this puny world in fire and chaos while humanity weeps tears of blood as pain and despair become the only reality they will ever know. Praised be his name and joyous be his acolytes at his coming. All must be purged.
