Custom toolbar movement in DS

GETSXGETSX Posts: 39

Hi.

I was faced with the fact that I can not attach the newly created custom toolbar the way I need it. When dragged, it disengages from the main panel, and (which is extremely unexpected) even from the entire DAZ Studio window and no longer wants to attach to any UI element (to the edge of the window for example or even back to MainToolbar).
I would like to attach it vertically to the right side of the program window, instead of toolbar "Tools". Is this possible somehow by standard means? DS - 4.10, layout - SityLimits Lite, OS - Win8.1x64

P.S. I tried to drag Main Toolbar and now I can not return it back surprise Help me please!!! In addition, I have dozens Custom Actions and there are changes in the layout of the menus and panels, so resetting to default values will make me very upset.
P.P.S. By the way (since here is the problem from the same series) - with the preinstalled toolbar "Tools" I can't delete the buttons, when restarting the DS they appear again. That's why I wanted to make my toolbar.

Maximized. Although in In both cases, I observe this behavior.

By the way, I restarted the DS and both unattached toolbars disappeared (I dragged the application window, under it there was nothing). I turned off my custom panel (in "F3") and applied, then the main toolbar appeared, but it was still unattached. Just in case I attach a screenshot. Also there it is visible that on the panel "Tools" there are buttons which I added, but all the default buttons again appeared after removal and restart DS.

It looks like there was some bug in the custom layout. I loaded an early backup of the layout and now the toolbars are dragged/attached normally. The question is closed.
But there is still a problem with removing the buttons on the toolbar "Tools". After the application is restarted, they are restored again.

That sounds as if the layout is not being saved on close, if you open a new pane (one that isn't normally open, close DS, and restart is the new pane still there?

Ah, which tool bar is it? The one that matches the Tools menu (the tools tool bar) is created at launch by DS, so that it always reflects the currenty available tools. if you want a tool bar with only some of the tools you will have to create a new one and populate it yourself (from the Viewport tools list on the left of Window>Workspace>Customise).

Got it. I tried to change the pre-installed "Tools" panel, so as not to waste time searching for all buttons. I needed some buttons on this panel, but others don't. Laziness was born before me :)

I saw from the changelog that you already had alterations to the customization of the panels in the pre-beta version. If this is something to help the process - earlier, when the panels are unnatached to other UI-elements, the main application window loses focus (window title became inactive). As if for these panels a separate invisible window was created.
