HELP Aiko 3 Missing Nyoko Hair and other questions ...

Hi,

I'm a total newb when it comes to this stuff, so please bear with me. I decided to post here first before contacting tech support.

I just purchased Aiko 3 Morphs and Maps and also Anime Star Fighter.
I used install manager for download/installation.

For Anime Star Fighter
1) There is no Nyoko hair, only the Materials. This isn't normal, right? How can I get it?

For Aiko 3 Morphs and Maps
1) How do I morph the model? In the SHAPING tab, there is an option for 2 INJ/REM Poses for StephPetit that don't do anything. Do I have to have the Steph Petit model for that to work? Also, when I use the sliders on individual body parts through the SCENE/PARAMETERS tabs, it just deforms the body in weird ways causing it to cave in or bulge out, unlike the Genesis models.

2) The product page states "Over 200 Morph Targets to Shape Aiko's Body and Head with Many Exaggerated Anime Expressions Included. For Complete List of Morphs Click Here." but I get a 404. What morph targets are there? Is it like the Genesis shaping features?

3) Is there a way to map/fit clothing between Aiko3 and Genesis? There seem to be options for Aiko4, but not A3.

Lastly, a stupid general question ...
1) What are the .exe and .sit Resource Files listed on the product pages for?

Did you install the full set of files for Aiko 3? The hair comes with Aiko. Also, make sure you are loading the Aiko 3 figure, not the LE version or the A3 to SP version (the former lacks morphs, the latter takes SP morphs and clothes but with A3's head); the morphs load with the figure, they don't need to be injected.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I tried uninstalling and downloading using the A3 base from Product Library.
Still no luck. Tried the manual download and looked through the files.
I found geometries, pose, and textures for NyokoHair, but that is the same as my Runtime.

Geometries/Lisbeth/NyokoHair01.obj
In Libraries/Pose and Textures there are also files for NyokoHair.
But in Libraries/Hair there is only Mitsu Hair for A3. DAZ Hair only has Aldora, Duke, SallyMae, and WildMane.

There is no .hr2 file or .cr2 file for NyokoHair. =(

Looking through my Products in DAZ it says

Product: Aiko 3 Base 3D Anime Girl
- Actor: !Aiko 3 LE

Product: Aiko 3 Morphs and Maps
- Actor: !Aiko 3 BLANK
- Actor: !Aiko 3 to SP
- Actor: !Aiko 3

Am I doing something wrong since it seems to be installing the LE version with A3 Base?

For the morphs ...
I took a screenshot of Aiko 3 figure. On the left SHAPING tab, I just get SP Body inject/remove options.
On the right PARAMETERS tab, I get the sliders/morphs. But some seem to deform oddly and not how I'd expect.
For example, breast size sliders result in bizarre, unnatural deformations. Do the earlier versions require a lot of
tweaking to get the look right? Am I set up properly? Or am I missing something?

edit: also, just wanted to say that DAZ is pretty amazing. I can't wait to try animation and going through all of the free mods.
But I really want to make sure I've got everything set up properly. Also thinking of getting some of the newer models. They
look great.

Use the Content Library, not Smart Content, what do you have in Poser Formats\My Library\Figures\DAZ Aiko 3 and in Poser Formats\My Library\Hair\DAZ Hair (where My Library is the folder you installed to - My DAZ 3D Library if you used the Install Manager with its default paths)? What is the name of the figure you have loaded in your screenshot, and where did you find it?

1) In the Aiko 3 folder are 4 models: BLANK, LE, SP, and Aiko 3.
2) In the Hair folder is only Mitsu Hair for A3.
3) for the previous picture I used the !Aiko 3 model and Mitsu hair using Smart Content -> Figures -> !Aiko 3

It looks like the Nyoko Short Hair is missing from the Aiko 3 Base package -- I'll notify DAZ 3D about it.

To use Aiko 3 clothing on Genesis you need the A3 Shape for Genesis.

Older models don't always show their morphs in the Shaping and Posing panes -- if you go to the Parameters Pane and select All you'll see the Aiko 3 morphs.

The Resource files are texture templates for creating your own textures for AIko 3

You are perfectly right. DAZ seems to forget include nyoko short hair.hr2
puckaging for new DIM zip and installer.

No user seems not find the problem,, untill you mentioned it.

tank you much,, to find DAZ usuall miss packaging about their product. they so often miss packaging.

I really hope,, after daz offer new ZIp, for nyoko.hr,
they do not foget include AIko3.cr2,, . I can not say, it is joke. DAZ can do such mistake often.
