how to hide/remove 'underwear' looking piece of Laguna Mermaid?

Hello, there is an underwear like piece that shows in the mermaid tail of Laguna Mermaid. (screen shots attached) Can anyone help me on how to remove or hide that? It shows up in the scene and render. I am applying the product to a naken g3 so it appears that is part of the product, but it's not mermaid looking so seems like I should be able to hide it.  I looked in the pieces in the scene tab and through the parameters. I didnt see anything to hide but maybe I am missing it? 

any help would be much appreciated!

thank you. I had searched on laguna mermaid and hadn't seen that string.
