camera Hither/yon in DAZ (and scaling...) AND postgre SQL issue

Hello there, people!
a veteran poser user here, making his first step into adding DAZ to my creativity options.
I'm searching for the hither/yon camera options, to no availe. can anyone point me as for where they are located in DAZ? I am doing extreme close-ups and want to prevent the clipping.
also, I am used to scale cameras in poser - and I noticed that when i scale the camera down in DAZ - nothing actually happens (the FOV is supposed to change, but it doesn't...)
another issue that i have is this:
anybody know how to fix this? I reinstalled the CMS files, and made sure the entire folder is excluded from my anti virus. can't figure out what to do next.

I don't believe there are hither/yon functions for the DS camera, at least not for the 'default' camera in use by DS. Never found them myself either (being a poser and DS user as well). They're not in the hidden parameters as well). Must be pretty close up if you've got clipping problems, I guess.
Can't help you with the Content Mangler System problem, as I don't use that...
yep, I'm doing a lot of extreme close-ups/camera size tweaking. hard to believe there is no such an option in DAZ! I thought it must be hiding somewhere.
any idea on the camera scaling thingy?
thanks :)
Never really did use camera scaling in Poser
, but I guess the closest thing in DS would be changing the 'Frame Width' of the camera in the camera's parameters tab. The base setting is 36mm (you know, from the 135 film. Theoratically, combined with a 3:2 aspect ratio of the render, it would mimic an 135 analog (reflex) camera....).
Which antivirus do you have? Some of them are set up by default not to allow programs to connect over your computer's internal network. Guess how the CMS database engine works. ZoneAlarm in particular is known to have issues with the PostgreSQL database D|S uses.
