    I think it is stunning! Just waiting to pay my bills to see if I have anything left but it's in the wishlist. Fantastic promos too. The drowning/chains part is a little creepy for my taste, but can't argue with the versatility and there are so many other great options. This looks like a very versatile set.

    Are there any example renders without the Photoshop filters applied? I would like to see the model without all the fuzziness to it.

    Wow! That looks like you put a lot of work into it. Onto the wishlist it goes!

    @Legionair

    BTW, i did not use any filters, all post was done manually in photoshop. All i did was lighten the shadow areas to fake indirect light because i am not familiar with DAZ's omni light at the moment. I also softened the background textures a bit to fake kind of a depth of field effect and move the focus where i wanted it to be.
    Additionally i separated the image layers (foreground, middle ground, background) via a subtle fog / haze done with a simple airbrush in photoshop for more clarity. A last step was - in some cases - to add a layer in color mode, fill it with a blue color and to lower the opacity (pretty low) to get a more unified look. Thats it. Took me maybe 20 minutes per image.

    My personal opinion is, that every render - doesn't matter where it comes from, 3dsmax, Modo, Maya, Daz etc - needs a certain amount of postwork, because they usually are not good enough. And a really good image, does not need to be a 100% real image at all. In my opinion it is way better to treat renders more like paintings, using a bit of art theory etc to create the finals, than to only rely on the render engines of the softwares.

    But that are just my 2 cents, so no offense intended :)

    cheers

    No offense was taken... but for a model like this, if I can't see the geometry to it, then I am not going to buy it.

    The promo images make the set seem fuzzy, almost like a diffuse blur filter was added in post processing.

    If that is how it looks normally with the default textures, that's fine. I just like to be able to change the surfaces so that I can use it for more than a couple of renders.

    The promo images make it look very specifically stylized which would make repeated use hard for me to envision.

    I bought it. It IS pretty specifically stylized. If you're wanting it to be plain ol' fantasy gray rocks, no, that is not an option with the set. If you want crazy detailed colorful textures suitable for a Lovecraftian sacrifice or an aquatic scene with desaturated lighting, that's what is on offer. I'm absolutely loving it myself, and it will appear in the promo renders of an upcoming product of my own. ;)

    It's a great set.

    As for retexturing to something more plain there are plenty of shaders out there for both Poser and DAZ Studio that offer such options.
