Am I missing something?
Scott-Livingston said:There are some free Genesis morphs available elsewhere, including this set that (in my opinion) is very good.If at some point you decide to purchase some Genesis content, consider picking up the Genesis Evolution Head and Body Morphs. Note also that those morphs are contained in some of the larger bundles, so if you can afford it that may be a better value. The morphs you saw in the video probably included the Genesis Evolutions morphs, and perhaps others as well.
And here's some great information on what you can do with just the basic Genesis.
Edited to add: Welcome to the forum!
This is just what I was looking for!
I have the Gen morph bundle(s), but for whatever reason when I go into Studio and look for the morphs to inject- the dials still do not show up. It's one reason I haven't used it often; no head dials beyond the M4/M5/D3/V4/V5/S4/A4 options. The model face structure, not the individual dials to control the entire scope of the shapes of eyes, mouths, and so on.
Hm. Perhaps I should re-install.

99% of Genesis morphs are auto load and ready to use at install, very few come with Inj rem settings. Also for better face sculpting I can recommend the Face Resource Morph packs.
Whelp- they don't load. I have the Genesis Evolution series- Face/Body/Muscle. The Muscle loads, the body loads, but not the face- and it's been installed. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall it to see if it works but I'm no way going to be buying resource packs for morphs that should be available in the packs I already have. As in the 3 and 4 Gen of models. I'll deal without them.
But thank you.
Gen 3 and Gen 4 morphs only work on Gen3 and Gen4 figure meshes. NOT on Genesis, it is a different mesh. You would need GenX to add Gen3 and Gen4 Face morphs to the Genesis Mesh. They will not show or work until transferred to the new mesh shape. Genesis is a new mesh and does not use Gen3 or Gen4 morphs not made for it, it only uses Genesis morphs unless you create new Genesis morphs from the older figures with a tool or much work by hand.
EDIT the Genesis HEAD morphs only give the BASE V4 M4 face shapes and not much more.
..I understand that, and wasn't inferring that it could or should.
What I was referring to were the facial shape morphs that came with the V4/M4/3Gen packages that were available with the basic morph pack that came with the model. They had (granted limited) facial structure morphs to use to generate a more distinctive model than the base.
Example: I use M4. He has some facial structure morphs with the ++ which, if I remember is an additional morph pack outside of the base figure.. You have more options of course if you purchase the Elite, Creature, Enhanced morph packs but still have the basic construction morph options with just the one addition. Body morphs as well.
Here we have to purchase body AND face morphs along with the base model that we want to use- Say M5. M4 came free with Studio. The ++ pack was an additional purchase, but you could morph his face and body with it with detailed dials to change both.
Here, we cannot ; we purchase face/body morphs. You can't change his body dials to the detail level without the purchase if you just buy the face. Vice versa. Add that if you want M5, you purchase that as well.
My point is that I, along with several digital artists I know, do not wish to continually purchase "morph" packs to change features. So, in essence, I have the basics. I will not dig into my pockets to purchase more (Like, four more) facial morph packs for Genesis- it makes no sense to me.
I'm not downing the product, just stating the differences between the generations- and now we have Gen2? No. I'm done throwing my money at people.
I Would be more than Happy to MOVE this thread to the Commons which is really the place threads like this belong. Just give me the Okay.
Conversation split out from a New Users thread and moved to the Commons.
Please remember that the New Users forum is moderated more strictly than the general forums.
As a community it will be important for us to cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration and encouragement that will allow for our newest additions to have fun and to learn in an environment that is conducive to both.
And in this forum we all get to wear pretty pretty dresses.

Where are you looking for the morphs? It's usually easiest to find them on the Shaping tab, but they do show on Parameters as well. Also, I'm not sure if the ones you are looking for are and can't find are "the model face structure" or "the individual dials." If you are looking for detail morphs, which morph bundles do you have? It sounds like you should have facial expressions, etc., so let's see if we can help you figure out where they are.
Edited to add: right, you have the Evolution morphs. You should have choices. Some of them are on Posing instead of Shaping....
Ah! Did you select just the head of Genesis? The Shaping and Posing tabs show just the settings that apply to the selected part. Try that, and if that doesn't help, post again with a bit more detail of what you're doing, maybe with a screen shot.

I dont see your point. It just looks like name difference to me. They could have called M4 morphs ++ something like head and body morph bundle, or Genesis ones morphs ++, and what? We would still buy them or not, and we would still get the same thing. And no, M5 is not the base figure. It is based on Genesis so Genesis is base and we get that for free, just like we get Genesis 2 Female base for free and buy or not Genesis 2 Female(s) Morphs Bundle (or call them G2F evolution morphs or G2F morphs ++)
Hi everyone
I updated to DS 4.6 but my “Genesis Evolution Morph Bundle” is not in the Shaping panel. I tried download and instal again and it didn’t work too.
Thanks
How did you download? If you used the DAZ Install Manager, and haven't changed the paths it installs to, do you have c:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library set as a DAZ Studio content directory in DS - and did you remove the previous installation of the morphs?
Hi Richard Haseltine
I’m not a DS hard user, so maybe I got something wrong. But what I’m saying is although some stuff of that bunle is shown properly, like Emaciated and Voluptuous, a lot of other things I have no Idea where they are, things like Face Flat, Heart, Round, Square, Young, stuff like Nose Bridge Depth, Bridge Height, Bridge Slope, Bridge Width, etc.
Thanks
What you have under proportions is what I have. All of my morphs are visible with the "head" selected rather than going down to the "proportions" level. What morphs do you show under "head"?
I'm sorry I didn't mention it, I've bought this morph bundle http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-evolution-morph-bundle, and some stuff is shown, but the others ones no.
