MD->Daz->ZBrush->Daz For clothing help?

Hi! Maybe someone can help me.

This is my current workflow. I'm creating my clothes in Marvelous Designer. For that I import my avatar to MD, then I apply the pose so that the folds of the clothes are generated. Then I export the result of the clothes to Daz. So far, so good.

Here my problem:
I would like to continue making alterations to the clothes then in ZBrush. For that I am using GoZ to go from one program to another. The problem is that when I change the geometry of the clothes in ZBrush to return to daz I lose the pattern and the texture of the clothes in the parts that I edited in ZBrush (in the image this is going to be easier to visualize. Pink is the original pattern/color. Violet is where I edit in ZBrush)

Is there any way that I can alter the clothes in ZBrush and not lose the texture and design when I go back to Daz.

Thanks a lot!

    If you are literally editing the item then no, because using GoZ removes grouping (and surfaces). GoZ is mainly set up for morph creation, which should not create a new model in the scene but just add a property to the existing model. More substantial editing is better handled via OBJ export/import.

    Thanks! So, in my case a better option would be to modify in ZBrush and the generate an OBJ file which I would later import into my scene right? My question with that approach is how can I place the clothes in my figure with it? Using transfer utility?

    Thanks a lot for your help

    Yes, once you have the final OBJ use the Transfer Utility to rig it to the figure.

    or you mean exporting my whole figure with clothes and everything, editing in Zbrush and then importing back to daz as 1 obj?

    No, export the clothing items separately, and the figure if you want it as a guide. By default DS will not export items that are set to Visible Off.
