which item to select with Dforce

Hi, I've just bought the wise wizard and poses, outfit, and when i put the figure in one of the poses, the clothing goes nuts...ive been watching tutorials on Dforce, but it doesn't actually say if you have the character selected, or the clothing. In the case of this wizard, there are two main clothing pieces that look terrible. When i used the Dforce simulation it still looked dodgy.Thank you kindly.

It doesn't matter, all dForce items (that haven't been frozen) will simulate. Are you draping from a memorised zero pose, or doing an animated drape, or are you just draping on the pose?
I is doing that because the dForce clothing in intersecting something. Now what is it intersecting? Find that out & it possible stop it from intersecting that thing (if you what to successfully simulate the cloth)
Example: The lady on the swing is wearing a dForce Dress. Parts of the dress were intersecting things that caused the dress to scramble into a wad of cloth.
1) The skirt of the dress was intersectioning the seat of the swing - to fix that I raised the lady up on the Y-axis just enough so that the skirt no longer intersected the swing seat
2) While the simulation was running part of the sleeve of the dress would intersect the rope holding the swing up so I hid the ropes of the swing only during the simulation so the dress would not intersect the ropes. You can do that by finding the eye icon in the Scene tab for the specific part of the model you want to hide or there is a 'visible is simulation' tab on the Parameters or Surfaces tab for the item you need to exclude from the simulation.
