Content in DAZ Studio

Just updated from DAZ 4.9 to the latest version -and also updated from 32 bit Install Manager to the newest 64 bit Install Manager

I do most of my animation inside of Carrara 8.5 Pro, which does not recognize content installed via DAZ Connect - so I want to completely avoid using that.

I've attached an image - which shows small blue squares on the bottom right of some icons for various content, and others show small white squares at the top right of those icons, some have both and some neither.  Can anyone describe what that means?  And if I'm using DAZ Install Manager - is there anything else I need to do to make sure content has actually been installed (aside from running the manager and having it search for and install new content?)
