Semi OT how do I uninstall one drive on win 10

How do I uninstall One Drive on Windows 10?  It is acting up and I need to reinstall it as that is how I keep my content backed up.  I cannot download my backups now.

I don't use One Drive but when I recently upgraded my Windows 10 to the latest version, it seemed that Microsoft can't grasp that anyone might not want to use it.  As a result it's not the most straightforward program to remove.

maybe try the unlink and then re-link before actually uninstalling the program.

I cannot unlink the one drive as it is not installed correctly.

Not wishing to project my feelings about Win 10 here, but .. regradless of the product involved, any comment that includes, 'I cannot download my backups now' means that is NOT a product I'd be looking at to contain my backups!
