OptiX and Image Series falls back to CPU after first frame.

Hello,

When I render an Image Series with the Iray renderer with OptiX enabled the first frame renders with the GPU(GTX 780 3GB) as expected but every frame after that falls back to the CPU because it runs out of Vram. If I disable optiX then everything works as expected. 

Is this a known issue?

    Try to roll back the Nvidia driver to an earlier version. Yesterday, a similar problem was solved by rolling back from the recently installed 391.35 to the previous 388.59

    Thanks, I might give that a go, I am using version 396.24 of the Linux driver although I suspect that running this on Linux is not the cause of this bug.

    The OptiX choice seems to provide erratice results/impact for people. You might uncheck OptiX and see how that works.

    I quess I jsut should have said, yes there are issues with OptiX.
