4.10 need an update??

Mine has gotten VERY clunky. SLOW...
And what's with these type of errors once a render starts??
3Delight message #43 (Severity 1): R2001: object 'shapematerial_straps_2724_a98' (displacement 'dzdisplace', surface 'dzplastic') exceeded its displacement bound by 0%
I've been getting them for ages but just now got around to asking about them..
And it's constantly (optimizing images).
Which I've learned over the years means the previous attempt was off..
Anyone??
Comments
agree.
Optimising images is taking the textreu iamges and converting them into the .tdl files used by 3Delight - a special .tiff format containing multiple resolutions, 3Delight uses the smallest that it thinks will work for the render size to save memory.
The displacement messages are informational, not errors - if a displacement exceeds its bounds (the distance the renderer looks from the original point) then it may be clipped, if it falls short of its bounds then the render is wasting time checking the area that doesn't contain any displaced mesh (which, for an aniamtion, can add up so the shader builders might want to adjust the settings). As long as it isn't actually exceeding its limits then you can ignore those messages.
