Long Brown Hair, Blonde Highlights

Does anyone know where I can find some long brown hair with blonde highlights? I'm making an avatar for someone who has requested this type of hair. Or does anyone know how I can get highlights into brown hair? Thanks in advance.

    The hairs in my runtime which come closest to what you are looking for are:

    Denver Hair and
    Salon Hair. (See the attachments.)

    There is also ShoXoloR for Mellany Hair, which appears to give quite a few options for streaking, though I don't have these textures so I can't say for certain.

    There's also a product called something like instant infinite variety for Hair. From one of the shader specialists. What it does is add streaks from very fine random, to quite heavy. The streaks are whatever diffuse color you feel like giving it. Mostly used for adding white streaks for older characters. But would work well enough to give people blonde or unnatural colors streaks as well.

    If all else fails, postwork can do the job easily. Look up some hair painting tutorials and hair brushes.

    Or edit the texture. Some rectangular selections in the strands and color/levels adjustments are often enough to do it. If you want to get even fancier, duplicate the texture into a new layer in your image editor, play with color and levels adjustments until you get a blonde/brown you like, and mask it off to paint your highlights in. That way you can have fine strands too.

    An option has the hair be light brown at the top then gradually change to blonde.

    Here's a screen shot of Mitsu Hair for Genesis (used on G2F here) with the Highlighted texture applied and the adjustments I made to the surface settings to get the brown highlights to render blond.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I seem to have spent too much money this month so I'll wishlist the hairs. I'm going to try out fiddling with the surface settings and post work first. It's not like this person is paying me..
