So I`m checking out the CMU BVH library converted to Daz and I was wondering if there`s a site that has videos of the animations using props in context of what is going on. Half of the files it just looks like the Genesis figure is spazing out.

Not entirely sure but I think I've found what I'm looking for here at the source.

    http://mocap.cs.cmu.edu/

There are MPGs that show the actual motion capture taking place. That should help me at least get an idea of what it is Genesis is supposed to be doing.

I feel your frustration. I too spent/wasted a day trying to get the BHV to work with genesis (which as you say spazes) and V4 (which was just wonky)

Let us know if you find a stream line process!

I think what I might do is watch the videos from the actual caption motion to figure out what is supposed to be going on, build a set out of simple primitives to approximate the props used in the original motion captures, then see what I can do using the new tools I've just purchased to convert the entire library into aniblocks. Some of them seem to work absolutely great with no adjustment needed. But others I have absolutely no idea what's going on so watching the original video is a big help.

Let's see.... 2548 motion caps in the library. If I manually convert 1 a day into an aniblock then I should have the entire library converted in.... 6.98 years..... okay then..... better get to work. :ohh:

if you do not wish to use BVHacker to view the files animated or change the joint names
there is another good alternative I use.
    Poser
    and M4
import the bvh onto M4 and save it as a pz2
in studio use it on Genesis, select feet zero and delete the keyframes for selected items under top right parameters box right click animation.

A great way to view just what a motion will do is to look at it in BVH Viewer. You can get it free at http://www.developmentinmotion.nl/software/bvhviewer/
