Christmas in July Sale question

I click the banner that is on top of almost any page here.
It takes me to a Christmas in July Sale Where it says "Get 70% OFF* all of these items when you purchase select New Releases"
Right after that sentence is a button that says "Shop New Releases"
I added an item to my cart from the Christmas in July page and clicked the button to go to the New Releases page that is linked.
I add 4 items from the Shop New Releases page.
The price does not change to 70% off on the Christmas in July item.

What are the SELECT ITEMS if they aren't on the page you're taken to when you follow a link?
Why would any new items be on the linked page if they are not qualifying items?
What exactly are the "QUALIFYING ITEMS" ? Is there a list anywhere?
It does say "Get 70% OFF* all of these items" does that mean I'd have to buy ALL OF THESE ITEMS to get 70% off?

If anybody can explain this sale, I'd appreciate it.

For now I'll empty my cart and head off to Rendo at least you don't have to read between the lines to understand their sales.

Keep this things in mind with DAZ sales.

    1. Percent savings is off of the Regular Price.
    2. Products are carted on the price shown in the store, qualifying discounts above the carted store price is shown on the Discount line above the Tax line.

    Sample Cart:

New Release: Dark Charms for G2F
70% Off: Ahoy for V6, Ahoy for V6 Textures

Picture below shows the store cart and how to check the store cart calculations.

I don't see such thing in my cart? What am I missing? I've dagger dreams, supbsurface goop and many other products in my cart along with those bonus price items and a few fast grab items and I seem to get only regular price listed.

Edit: btw about Rendo. I stopped shopping there after I no longer find any products. Their search is abysmal. For example I've no idea how to search for all male genesis outfits and sort them by price. The search seems insists I first have to pick the clothing item, then clothing type, then model it is meant for... really unintuitive.

These should be the qualifying items that you need to buy one of to get the 70% off:

Edit: It could be the free dagger dreams item causing the issue. I recall reading somewhere in the forum that the free item was not coming in as free when purchased along with the Christmas in July items.

I did not have a problem this a.m. when I purchased a qualifying item and a xmas in July item + used today's $2 coupon. Didn't have the free item in cart though. I'm guessing...it's a glitch when freebie is in cart.

I think I got it working. At least the totals seemed ok. Daggers are not a freebie for me since I'm not a platinum club member anymore. I still didn't get that manual prince calculation window though but as long as totals are ok.

BTW, I used the subsurface goop shaders as a qualifying item on one of the sale days...so it's definitely a qualifying item.

I'm not platinum either. That's the weeky freebie that should be free with any purchase. For whatever reason, sometimes with a particular sale or coupon the item won't tally up a weekly freebie item as free. I've had items do that to me...where they don't show up free with one set of purchases but are free with another set.

Edit: That calculation box is copied from somewhere else using the snipping tool. Red box gives it away.

Ah ok. That explains why the calculation box did not appear. I thought I was missing some setting. As for the freebie. I guess I've to do some math again (and I hate math) to figure out if the total is correct after all. It definitely was not on the first attempt as there was basically no discount calculated at all.
