constant grip on other figures?

hello! i have been making alot of fight scenes in daz 4.6 lately, and the major thing that takes up most of my time on them, is going through and setting 40 or 50 extra keyframes, just to make sure the hands stay gripped onto the other figure, when grappling and throwing and such. does anyone know a method or addon that might allow for easy grip on other figures? like, really lock the hand on a certain spot, without having to move the hand manually?

i tried MJCholdon, but i cant seem t get it to do what i need. i don't own graphmate, or keymate. i use only the basic animate lite keyframes. ----thank you for your time.

not a very good answer I am afraid,
    but
    buy Carrara!
you can then use target helpers and track modifier.
you might want the aniblock importer too

You can parent a figure to a figure, but sadly you cannot parent a specific part of a figure to a specific part of another figure. I't most annoying.

Yes, in carrara it is quite easy to use target helpers for this.

I am afraid that at this time DS4.6 and AniMate light are lacking that much needed feature. Even AniMate2 lacks it. The only real work around as you have found is the Key frames. I do suggest AniMate2 Full, KeyMate and GraphMate as addon's if you enjoy animation in DS4.6, the full programs really add some of the much needed fine control DS animation still needs.

thanks for all the answers, but i wonder...wendy♥catz tells me that it can be done in carrara...could animations made i there be exported to daz? where i am more at home? meh i doubt it, but tis a thought. update me if a solution ever comes about for daz!

most likely not, even with fenric's pz2/bvh exporter (not that I have tried it)
    but
after rendering an animation in Carrara one would be unlikely to wish to use studio again, (reason I have never tried it)
