smart content will not start

Smart content will not start, but when it does it will not log me in.

    Smart Content? That looks like trying to connect to Daz. Are you getting the PostgreSQL connection error on other occasions? It does sound like a firewall, or security software in general, issue.

    I have a similar issue. Mac user, latest OS, latest DS 64 bit, latest DIM 64 bit. I have not had Smart Content since DS 3. Every time I launch DS 4 I get this dialog on screen (see attached.) I OK it and carry on without smart content. I have not detected firewall or antivirus sw conflicts.

    You do have PostgreSQL installed?
