I love Stonemason's promos as much as his products. Antfarm's are great too.

If this isn't one of the coolest promo images ever, it's so dynamic, just hop on the Big A$$ Wheel and take her out for a spin. Antfarm makes some very cool stuff.

    What a fantastic thread

Joelegecko and Stonemason's artwork is just way too stunning!

I'd love to see a 'Masterclass' section on the website where the Daz masters are invited to break down a scene and go through topics like lighting, rendering and post production. Hell I'd pay for it!

I don't know if it's the dress itself or the Framed Roger Rabbit reference but these promos work. The stairs background help with the sophistication.

A lot of the promo artwork for products that are purchased by DAZ and sold as "DAZ Original" were done by an artist that goes by the name of JoeLeGecko. Most of the other promos seen in the store are by the PA's who make the products and promos themselves.

The last render - where can I find the product?

Thanks a bunch - though a lot of products went into this rather small picture :).

I'm usually espousing the virtues of the promo renders in this thread, but surprisingly the description for the Grenades product caught my attention on this one for a change.

It's not everyday that we see this level of detail, but the fibremesh beard on Mec4d new wizard looks great. There's a bunch of promos and this is the most practical of the bunch but it really shows off the details.

Stonemason released a new scifi living quarters set today that's looks great, and this promo looks like a cinematic still from a movie. Outstanding.

I like seeing the " surprisingly inventive" so JoeQuick's Mr Turtle definitely falls into that category. Adding the kid in the turtle suit is even better.

Haven't been around as much as usual but saw this this morning. Lovely Victorian Dress and the reality Luxrenders are vivid by Shifting Images. It's like seeing Vivian Leigh in a shot straight out of Gone With the Wind

A real world type render for the Electrocar, Like the depth of field blurring and crispness of the DS render. And its a darn good looking and useful model to boot. http://www.daz3d.com/electrocar

Ignis Serpentus created some very stylized artistic promos for the awesome Big Cat 2 Battle armour, there's more than a few of them on the product page, and it was tough to choose one to showcase here so go check them out.

Yea, I like em all. Especially the cat sneaking up on you one, If I can cast my vote here.
I appreciate the list of items used as well, It doesn't leave some one new to CG like me with the impression that I'm buying Everything I see in the promo pics. And I can see just how good the thing can look in the end if done correctly.

I have to agree, adding the "Also Used in Promo" links is a smart and beneficial move for the store pages,

This next one was unexpected and surprising, and technically its not a standard promo image, though it was promoting a product on the main banner of the store page so it counts, I figured. I thought the ad copy suited the image quite well which has strong emotional impact. It's linking to an autofit tut for Genesis 2 female:

It's actually a product promo. That was the main promo I did for the Teen Josie expressions :)
It works quite nicely with that text though. The image was feeling familiar but it took me a couple seconds to remember I did it...

Thanks for that Joe, I went check it out, and found it as described. http://www.daz3d.com/expressions-for-teen-josie

And today, there's a whole slew of new art associated with the new Lee 6 release, well worth having a look at, and I particularly liked this modern streets inspired image.

    http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/lee-6-pro-bundle

But I also saw some WIP promo images from Mec4D Lee6 clothing thread that are really cool, but they're not full fledged promos yet, so we'll post them when they're ready for release, but still worth a peak for the sheer quality at the forum thread link below.

I always adore AntFarm's promos. The Mech Vardon was no exception. I must confess though, I sometimes don't even bother to look at all of his promos. I usually see "The AntFarm" and "New" and then the green button that says "Purchase."

There is a lot of excellent art in this thread, and very inspirational on what can really be done with a promo.
