Where to put dynamic clothing

Sounds like an easy question right?
I have some of the freebies from optitex, no installer, and the zips just have the folder containing the item. I know there is a folder structure for where they go, as in my library/people/V4/?/?. And I know if they aren't in the right place Studio will never find them. So what is the folder path to where the containing folder goes?

install the unpacked zip folders into.......your puter/documents/dazstudio/mylibrary this is where most all daz content goes.
Any place you like, they can only be loaded from the Content Library Tab>DAZ Studio Formats>My Library> ANY FOLDER. I just put my Free collections in the Figures V4/M4 as a Subfolder named Dynamic Clothing.
The Data and Runtime folders have to be merged with the ones in your DS content folder. The user-facing files can go anywhere in the content folder except Data, Runtime, or Readme's.
Ok I do appreciate the help but I have hit one of my usual odd ball problems, I cut out the data, people, runtime folders from the content folder and then it just closes and I lose the content. :shut:
If I ever get a brake, it will be a bone.
What version of DS and what dynamic clothing item?
Latest version of Studio; just downloaded it earlier this week.
But the issue I am having now I just can't figure out. When I cut the contents out of the content folder the folder just closes and I lose the content. Same thing if I try to copy it. I don't know why I always encounter this screwy stuff.
Man, I though this issue may have been an old build of PKzip may have been screwing something up so I downloaded winzip. Big mistake, now I am uninstalling it and running spybot. Tried winrar and my antiV wont let it download. And PKzip wanted to install a buch of other apps with it. Going to try 7zip next.
What happen to the days when you just got what you downloaded and it didn't want to install a bunch of crap with it?
Go with 7Zip everytime. I works great and you don't get any crap with it. Well that is my experience
Yup, downloaded and installed with no hints of any extras
edit to add, wasn't it nice of winzip to delete the 1 zip file I used it to unzip when I uninstalled it, now I have to redownlaod it. >:-(
And yes, winzip was in my start up menu and had installed a browser tool bar. Getting where you can't even trust legitimate companies.
And yes, that solved my issue and gave me the file structure I needed :-)
