That has a nice Republic era Jedi order feel to it. The "prequels" may not have been the best movies (uh huh!) but they did give me the sensation of being immersed in the aura of the Star Wars universe. I just don't get that from the Disney versions, even though I really want to.

Is that outfit a kitbash / self-made, or did I miss an obvious Jedi candidate out there?

It's kitbashed.  I like all the movies for what they are.  The orgininals will always be my favorites, no matter what.  I really don't expect any of the new movies to top them in my heart.  My daughters are Star Wars fans because of the new movies and cartoons.  The new stuff  is really for them, where the originals were for me.  The non-triligoy movies (Rogue One, Solo?) I think appeal to all more so then the other ones.

Yes, I hasten to add that Rogue One was a great surprise and most certainly did drop me back into that wonderful Star Wars universe.

Can't explain why the new trilogy movies don't, but they don't. The trailer for the first one did:

but that movie was missing in what came out.

Kind of a side project to the Civilian Star Trek ship I'm building, I started on a YT-1300pf that's inspiried by the way Lando keeps the Falcon in the Solo film. Well Lando's cleanliness and more of a family style ship like the Jupiter 2. :P I'm building the interior and exterior for this one, got to a point with my corridor pieces that I could do a test render and fired it up.

Niiiice. One critique though. Red-heads, particularly natural red-heads, always have very fair skin, and don't tan

While not a digital 3D project, it is a 3D Star Wars project. I am working towards getting my 501st approval, just waiting on a few more pieces to finish my T.I.E. Fighter Pilot costume.

That reminds me — are there any good meshes for Slave-1 out there somewhere? I've checked all my usual suspects, but I can't find any.

I had to convert this one from lightwave format to OBJ, then manually re-texture it using the texture folder that came with the Lightwave download.  Pain in my #$% but worth it.  Only thing that sucks is it's not rigged for Daz ot Poser, so I can't use it in landing configuration.

Nice.  I wish someone would do Ashoka's new outfit from Star Wars Rebels.  I tried to Kitbash one, but havn't quite got it.  I eneded up doing a back shot of her fighting Vader.

Teras Kasi Master Yu-Dan Ja by tkdrobert

Yu-Dan is not a Jedi, but he can use the Force.  As a child he trained in the ancient Martial Art of Teras Kasi.  He found he was a natural.  His reflexes and strength were superior to his fellow students.  His masters realized he was Force sensitive and sent him to a secret monastery to hide from the Empire.  Yu-Dan continued to train and learned to use the Force to enhance his strength, speed, and toughness.  He can surround his body with the Force, creating a sort of armor.  He can take any blow, punch and kick through stone.  He can even deflect blaster bolts.  He doesn’t think of the Force like the Jedi do.  He thinks it comes from within, an internal energy (chi).  That’s what he was taught.

Yu-Dan has returned to his village and quickly witnessed the cruelty of the Empire.  He has vowed to protect his people from their tyranny.
