hi hi

Does anyone know if these anime eyes work with Genesis 2?

They should, as long as you change the UV set for the eye materials in the Surfaces panel to Genesis (for that product) or to whatever UVs match the textures you want to use. I still use a really old V4 eye set on my Genesis and Genesis 2 figures because I like them best.

They're in DSA format and they use V4's UV maps, so you'll need to convert them one by one to DUF and have the V4 for G2F product.

Also, they're JUST textures for the iris/pupil zones. The mats assume another texture is present for the sclera and the cornea opacity is at 0%.

Wow, those eyes should really say that they're using V4's UVs. Vaskania is right though, you will need the V4 for Genesis 2 Female set to use any Victoria 4 texture (eyes, body, whatever) with Genesis 2.

Don't all the genesis uv sets share the same uv layout for the eyes as v4?
From the ones I've seen they don't look any different.

Might be why it isn't mentioned in the description.

It's possible, I don't remember offhand (and if anyone should, it ought to be me, haha). That would explain it though.

Genesis uses V4 by default, but Genesis 2 Female uses V5 by default. Their eye UV's do have slight differences.

Took a quick look, yeah slight differences in the uvs but the pupils have quite a big difference with the geometry lol...
Someone must have been cracking a whip to meet a deadline. :P

I've always found the default K4 iris textures make for good anime irises just by tinting the defuse map with a bright colour.

Of course everything looks anime if you add enough tentacles.
