Hi:-)

I´m only a little amateur, like to model in 3d. And if i had english in school, i played computer games. :-)

Maybe you have time to have a look @ my animation project, calling "Koutneverland" I tell a true story. ANd i build more than 60 Buildings, places and so on from cologne Germany. Sometimes, i work in bed, cause i have something like Parkinson. And every modelled building is a little victory about this shit. I began this work since three years.Ok...here we go :-)

This are four outtakes, from my forthcoming film. I think i´m ready in spring 2019 with maybe 105minutes

take one...

Wow! Amazing! Just posted this on FB. I love the style you use and your soft, quick camera fades. The scenes are so full of things to see and clues to the story. You have done very good work on the scenery you built too. I like the night scene pullback of the camera as the DoF(Depth of Focus) clears and your choice of background sounds. I also was amazed at the scene where you had many people walking and moving. Hope to see more soon!

Nice work, especially the animation and editing! Best of luck with the project.

I agree with JazzyBear: Wow! You've done wonders with camera work and editing; and the modelling and expressions also stand out. Great results. Please keep it up!

  • Ok, Thank you very much for your comments. I will try to explain some things. But, i hope you understand, my english.

    It is a true story

In the year 2000, the cologne police catched a man who was riding naked on a bicycle. The investigation revealed that he had brutally raped a young woman immediately before, in the old town of Cologne.  In 2016, a minor girl is being raped in Cologne. My daughter....

Koutneverland is the attempt to process the happened. I would like to tell what happened between 2000 and 2016.

I´m know ready with 3h of animated render scenes. 28 people in koutneverland have a speaking role.... It was amazing to do this. In the next weeks i will show you.

I am not healthy, I did a lot of chemotherapy, and i have the parkinson problem, nothing can shock me anymore, and i´m not depressive. I love the life, and i love the Love:-)

Maybe Koutneverland is the last thing I do in life, but I'll get it done.  I swear. :-). And if all i´m ready, i will render this in 4k. But first, all is ready, because 4K is a little bit expensive. :-)

Ok, another thank you very much for your time. and until a few years ago I did not believe that I would write the sentence....share it, if you like it :-))))

Koutneverland is absolutly a non profit projekt, but maybe DAZ take this to his affilate Program.

    Keep the love alive

    Marie Koutnever

  • Hey :-) another thank you for your time, but it´s all ok, thank you very much for the good wishes, but i now, sometimes i have fun too. :-)

Cool! I totally get the vibe. Keep up the good work. I wouldnt focus on an english version, instead I would make subtitles to accompany your original version. I think that take three is my favorite because it looks like you had the most fun making it.

Great job. Go dark... go as dark as you like!

    Hi Marie,

ein großartiges Projekt, und ich wünsche Dir viel Erfolg! Man sieht, dass Du dein Herzblut da hinein gelegt hast, und ich hoffe, es hilft Dir das Geschehene zu bewältigen.

a great project, and I wish you a lot of success! It's obvious that you put a lot of heart and soul into it, and I hope you'll be able to deal with what happened through this.

  • Thank ypu very much again :-)

@anotherusername Life is sometimes sunny and sometimes dark. But the darker it gets, the easier it is to discover even a very small light :-)

My german version is a must have for me, because it is a little war. There are some people in cologne, they don´t like what i do. But...for this people, i dedicate Koutneverland

and the english versions will be published the next days. But that makes someone who speaks a much better English than me. OK. This is not difficult :-)

    @BeeMKay, Danke, danke, Dankeschööön :-)

@allicatblue, fsmedesign, dragonfly,  Thank you very much!

  • Ok, it took a longer time.... but may you have a look at my fifth outtake of

    my animation project.

    Here it is.
    Thank you very much.

Very cool! Have you thought of doing it as a VR project? If the cost of the interactive licenses is too high, maybe you could get an existing VR company to pick up the cost and move it into VR...

  • @ wonderland

Thank you very much for your comment. I love to read this. :-) ANd now, i hope you can understand my bad german school english.

One of my questions is, what i´m doing with my content. I modelled thousands of props for Koutneverland. But i´m not perfect. I´m not stonemason, and now seeing your homepage,... i´m not Alicia Hollinger. You are the artists, i´m the hobbiest. (My great respect for your work!)

I made modelling and rendering only since three years, and sometimes i ask me, what i´m doing here. Koutneverland is sometimes to big for me.

But it does not matter, I just keep going on.

And i don´t know, how many time i have. I do all i can, to get Koutneverland ready. It is a project for my heart!

But óf course, i thought of VR as well. But in germany, there is not really a game or video industry like in USA.

I´m asking at two german holdings, and i´m getting no answer. I´m asking at some magazins, and i´m getting no answer too. So i think, i´m not good enough.

But if you are having ideas, or something like this, i love to read this.

    here, or @facebook.com/mariekoutnever or www.mariekoutnever.de

Thank you very much again. :-)

    marie.

  • Oki, something else. :-)

If you like koutneverland, please share it, i need a little more audience. :-)

Looks really good, but the one thing that stands out is the limitations of the software.. And that is the hair and some of the clothing, though even with those big budget CGI movies, even they have problems with making hair look and drape realistically..  Other than that it is looking good with the limitations present..

  • Hi,

a long time, with a healthy adventure is over. But now, i´m ready with modelling. The Trailers here, are build from some test renders. The next step is, rendering the complete film. 105min of Iray animation.

    Sorry for my bad english.

Nothing more to say. :- ) Thanks for your time.

Wow! Looks fantastic, and the dedication to creating a feature project with Daz is inspiring. How long do you expect the rendering process to take? Congratulations, really neat stuff!

Video's look great, almost done viewing them all.

The one where you offer a couple aniblocks on your web site, it says your site is under construction, there's nothing to download.

Thank you very much. I´m glad, you like it.

My english is bad. very bad. So i hope, google tranlate, can answer:-)

I can't tell how long or how much I had to render. The finished film will be about 105 minutes. I have around 180 minutes of fully rendered scenes available for this. But then all the scenes that I rendered for free because I overlooked errors have already been sorted out. And I still find mistakes :-)

You see a scooter at the beginning of Koutneverland 9. It drives from right to left. the sound goes from left to right. Did someone write to me yesterday ...... I have four PCs available for rendering. Sometimes the weeks ran day and night. Especially in winter. The apartment got warm :-) Thank you for your interest and I hope you stay curious. Next monday comes the next part.

Another Thank you very much Faeryl Womyn :-)

My problem is, I did koutneverland alone. And when I started doing it, I was stupid enough to think it all happened at the same time. Modeling, rendering, freebie upload, social media. I hope by the end of May at the latest. Better to be finished with the page in mid-May. Then there are the downloads again. sorry

again it took longer than expected :-) Here is a new trailer.

I cut these trailers together from test render. Which, in turn, I need for troubleshooting.

In the English version, the lip synchronicity is bad. That's because I only rendered the German version for testing purposes.

So that means you hear English, but you see the German version. That will of course be different in the end result.

I believe that a maximum of two trailers will come, after which the finished film will be rendered. And I'm also working on the freebies, i.e. on my homepage. but i still need some time. :-) Sorry.

Thank you for your time and your curiosity....

    Here is the english version
