Connect - Products stuck in Smart Content Updates tab
Another user mentioned that he has some products just keep showing the "update" button no matter how many time you update them.

I encountered this issue in the past.
- In some cases you can resolve this issue yourselves.
- In other cases you may need to contact DAZ3D to have a look at the issue.

Steps to try to fix products stuck in the Updates tab
Whenever you find a product installed directly inside DAZ Studio with Connect in the Updates tab
- right click it and select "Update Metadata"
- right click it and select "Install Update"
The product should now redownload and vanish from the "Updates" tab.
If the product remains in the "Updates" tab of the smart Content pane something has gone wrong.
Further steps:
1) right click the product and select "Uninstall"
2) Find out the Product ID or SKU by right clicking the product and selecting "More Information"
3) Close DAZ Studio
4) In the windows file explorer browse to
D:\USERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My DAZ Connect Library\data\cloud
5) Delete just the one product folder that is labeled with the Product ID or SKU
6) In the windows file explorer browse to
D:\USERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My DAZ Connect Library\data\cloud\meta
7) Delete just the .json and .jpg file labeled with the Product ID or SKU
-> Now all files that you downloaded for this product should be deleted from your system
Side Note:
With DIM you could follow a similar workflow. The challenge there is that files of DIM installers are spread all around the runtime and are not neatly placed in one product folder. Therefore it is a lot more challenging to track down remaining files...
In any case make sure that you do not also have the same product files installed with DIM.
This workflow is intended for users who install products just inside DAZ Studio with Connect.
8) Open DAZ Studio
9) Check the updates tab
-> The product should now be gone there
10) Find the product in the DAZ Studio Smart Content or Install pane.
11) right click it and select "Update Metadata"
12) Reinstall the product directly inside DAZ Studio by right clicking and selecting "Install"
11) Check the updates tab again
The product should now be gone from the updates tab for sure.
If the product is still stuck in there it is time to create a support ticket and to let DAZ3d know about it.
In theory the new update should have downloaded if you followed those steps.
Just for some weird reason it is indicated that it is still not updated.
-> Whatever glitch is happening is very likely caused on the server side of things.
I consider this as confusing but because it does not prevent me from working I stopped reporting such issues.

I've had this same issue with those boots for some time. Nothing I've done (same as in the OP) has solved it. So far, it's the only thing doing it, though I have several of the other listed products (knock wood).
The boots appear to be fixed, now. \o/
This is the same on my system.
Some of the products reported by other users may work as well.
