What is your favorite male texture?

Hello :)

I'm just looking to get some new male textures into my library and I'm wondering which ones are your favorite? Which one you would recommend?

I use DAZ3D figures, and have Texture Converter 2, so even generation 3 textures are ok but I won't mind also something more recent, like Genesis/Michael 5 and so on.

The Elite M5 skin texture is one of my favorites.

I also very much like Axel's textures (the m5 version)

Edit for disclaimer - these are a balance of what's my favorite with what was on sale. If an artist does awesome work but everything costs $20 and is never on sale, I probably don't have anything of theirs. Everyone has their priorities; I prefer to have my bigger budget items be large prop sets.

    Realistic:

P3Design: Sometimes I use my own HSS shaders (once you've created a preset you can ctrl+click it to add it to a textured Genesis, super easy), but she does fantastic male bases that aren't too toon or too hairy for me. I have things of hers from DAZ and Rendo.

Phoenix1966: I can't afford everything in this store that I want, but I want all of it. Caleb is another one of my go-tos for "not just like every preppy tan guy" renders that still need someone who can pass for a regular person.

Morris: Aiden M5 is my standard "insert manly guy into render" skin. http://www.daz3d.com/people/aiden-for-m5
Sometimes he's overly rugged for my needs, and then I use Caleb or one of the smoother P3D skins.

    For dark-skinned characters:

Also, at Renderosity there's Reciecup: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=reciecup

    Fantasy/SF:

Prince Albane M4 (I've also used Princess Ali in the same application): http://www.daz3d.com/prince-albane

    Igigi: http://www.daz3d.com/the-igigi

These are a "low-diffuse" set so I tend to use my own HSS or SSS shaders with them to bring out the detail and turn down the glow. In general, I absolutely adore Raw's characters.

Dariofish at Renderosity. All of it, forever.

Reciecup overlaps this because she often offers some really nice sf/fantasy skins as bonuses with her nubians.

There are others. Basically it depends on what you need in your scene - always check the files list to see if there are gens textures if you need gens, if there are hairy and non-hairy options, what facial stubble there is, etc. I've felt annoyed buying a set with stubble expecting it to be optional and no, it's there forever because they just projection-mapped a photo source onto the figure's UV and basically didn't do much else to it.

RawArt's Prince Albane M4, hands down. It was one of the first skins I ever bought and continues to be useful today. It's not one of these super duper photo-realistic crater-pore skins of today but it's weirdly versatile.

I still use Elite Rob M4 and have lots of "ethnic" variations of the skin. Rob can be white (when I tell him to be) :p

I never bought M5 or D5 so I missed out on all of the Gen5 male skins!
