Basic Question On Daz + Blender

Hi, this is a very basic question about Daz + Blender for an idea I have but I'm not sure how to do it. The question is: When importing a character to Blender, Blender is able to identify the physics of the scene and generate the new morphs? Basically imagine that I want to put one of my characters in a sofa and that the sofa takes the form it would take when a real person sits on it. Does anyone know if this is this possible in Blender? Or I will need to create the new shape of the sofa by hand.
Thank you so much.

No, not without you writing a bunch of physics code and modeling new models or modifying existing models.
Unity 3D can do that though but it will still require work from you. To simplify that work you can buy the OBI Cloth asset in the Unity 3D Asset Store.
Thanks I will investigate more about Unity. Might get back to you with new questions :p
Enjoy your weekend!
What????
This ability has existed in blender for some time with soft bodies
@callmepaul Just use an invisible proxy collision object of roughly the same volume
of the figure hips &buttocks and make the sofa cushions soft bodies in blender
Youtube is replete with tutorials on this.
Oh, that's cool, it slipped my mind earlier, but the OP whether with Blender or Unity will still have to parameterize correctly to simulate the right surface. It's very unlikely they will stumble accross the correct parameterizations for the models they choose to use via search and will have to play it by ear to get something that looks accurate.
So if the OP chooses to use Blender it's made easier to get the DAZ Scene to blender with

Also to the OP you'll find a lot more tutorials with Blender for physics on YouTube.
Honestly, it might be much simpler to morph the Sofa's mesh by hand in Blender then reimport the morphed object into DAZ as a morph; than trying to get the Parameters just so, and the morph will simply look right; not to mention it will be yours to keep for projects going forward.
Sickleyield, posted this Tut on DAZ/Blender morphs sometime ago, while dealing with a clothing morph the basic concepts apply and should serve you in good stead. BB.
Thaanksss a lot to everyone! A lot to explore! Thank you!
