Animating problem

Hi All

Ive been working on a simple animation where the figure (G3F) goes from a standing position to a kneel.

Started using aniblocks to get everything looking how I want it, then baked to timeline.

Then I make a new aniblock from the timeline to use later, and refine some

Problem is that although the basic animation is ok the figure floats up afer a few frames and stays up in the air, meaning that to use the aniblock I have to reset the y axis on all frames again.

Its probably me being dumb (again) but this has me stumped.

Any help would be very welcome TIA

Do you have graphmate or keymate? I'd imagine it's just a single y-translate key that needs to be deleted or lowered. Graphmate is what I use to identify anomalies like that.

  • I have use of both graphmate and keymate, I think it has something to do with the figure kind of auto resetting at the end of the aniblock to what the hip y axis position was at the start of the animation.

    Other that Im clueless

It might be an issue with using G3F and the aniblock (like most are) was made for Genesis?  Some have fixed a similar problem by repositioning the hip bone to the floor, but I'm no expert on this.
