SRMS Question [Solved]

I am trying to convert the Everyday 1950 for Genesis Female blouse using Sickleyield's Rigging and Morphing System so I can enter this week's PC contest, but for some reason it refuses to take the morphs. I can convert other stuff, so I'm pretty sure my technique is OK.

Has anyone else been able to do anything with this blouse, or does anyone know why it might not respond to the SRMS treatment? Thanks.

Convert it to who, as I understand it the SRMS helps convert things to Genesis, the outfit you are referring to is already for Genesis.

Well, I want to add the SRMS morphs which come with the SRMBodysuitBase and/or the SRMDressBase to an existing Genesis item, as described in Chapter 6 of SickleYield's Manual. Most particularly I want the breast bridging morph. I have tried both the Bodysuit and the Dress base, but I still get that "cling to" effect. It works OK on other Genesis garments. A bit of a puzzle. :-S

Check the unmodified garment to see if it already has FBM or PBM morphs. SRMS will not overwrite them if they already exist unless you first manually delete them from the data files. It's dimly possible the original artist created "custom" morphs but that they kept the cling look for stylistic reasons.

Thanks, SickleYield, that was the answer. There were already FBMs in the garment - I didn't realise they couldn't be overwritten.

I created a new base garment by deleting the FBMs via the Property Editor, renaming it and saving it. Then I reloaded the new garment and proceeded as per the instructions in the manual, adding the new FBMs that way.

You have reinvigorated my faith in your product - bravo!

I'm glad you were able to get it working for you in the way that you wanted. :-)
