Just noticed this when I went to check my shopping cart. Interesting!

I got this message as well... and I know I AM a Platinum Club member. This is a little disheartening.

I sent a message to their Help Center. Maybe it's a glitch on their end.

Your forum profile doesn't show you as a PC member, either. It normally would.

    I just noticed that.

... I'd better not be charged $7.95 for nothing...

I'll be honest, I wish there had been something like this when I started making my Genesis purchases last year. I bought hundreds of pounds worth of products in only a few days then realized that the total would have come to about half of that if I'd been a PC member. Rectified now, but oh the money I could have saved for spending on yet more goodies!

Well HOF, I'm with you. I didn't know what "PC" meant when folks were referring to it, when I first started last September, and spent hundreds of dollars, paying almost full price. CRINGE. Probably would have been under $40 instead of $300+ DUMB. (Me, not you!)

Please file a support ticket. There are a couple of things that can trigger the "dropped from the club" error, the most Common one being if you have received a refund as store credit recently.

Jeez - they still haven't fixed that bug? Must be about a year old now.

I think I saw it said that its on the 'to do' list so give it another couple of years or so and it should be fixed.

I thought I was still a member, but I just recently found out that one of my payments didn't go through, so my membership lapsed.

I used to be a member. I might be again... Just waiting to see if there are any major problems with the New Platinum Club.

But aside from that... I think (from a marketing standpoint) that was a good idea... provided it is accurate, works properly and does not cause any bugs that mess up your order or monkey with your cart.

Wow, with all the store credit I have claimed as (partial) refunds over the past months I must have really dodged the bullet, without even realising it was incoming! ;)
