Mimic Live won't lip sync

I had no problem with using Mimic Live in the 64-bit DAZ Studio 4.10 a few days ago, but now I am unable to move my figure's lips to my recorded voice.  Why is this the case?  What should I do to fix this?

  • I think I might know the problem.  Last weekend, I used the Genesis3.dmc file on a Genesis 3 Male while using LipSync in the 32-bit beta version, where I added an audio file.  It's possible I might have used the Genesis3.dmc plug in from the dzmimc folder in LipSync, when really it should have been in another folder designated for LipSync.  I think the dzmimc folder was designed for Mimic Live.  Maybe my Genesis3.dmc file is not working, and if so, how can I get a replacement dmc file for the dzmimc folder?  and what folder should I use the .dmc files from, for the LipSync plugin?

  • I still have the same problem with Mimic Pro vs. Genesis 3 Female figures.

    1. The audio records no problem, but

    2. The facial gestures and mouth do not lip-sync.

What would I have to do in order to use facial gestures and move the lips properly?

  • Have you had any luck?  I'm having the same problem.
