How much longer does it take to render G8F at max res vs default res in IRAY? (subd)

How much longer does it take to render with Max vs Default on Gensis 8 female in IRAY?

In Iray or 3delight? 3Delight doesn't care, Iray one factor will be whether both fit into the GPU memory - level 2 will multiply the base polygon count by 16, level 5 will mulitply the base polygon count by 1,024

In Iray.  Yes you're right. I noticed when I go over my video card's memory the render takes forever, but if I stay within the boudns of my video card memory, the render is nice and fast.

What if you stay within your video cards memory? How much longer will the max res take over default res?

I'm not noticing much of a difference so far. I'll probably do my own test soon and share the results here.
