Hi folks,
I have question, just a curiosity.
Is there a way to export a full scene (with materials, props, lights and animations) into a package and import everything into another environment (for example a workstation) just to run the rendering?
Thanks for your attention,
regards,
Ennio

I think if you convert the scene into a package for sale.. then it takes everything... and you just reinstall the stuff and then run the scene
Thanks for the suggestion.
I tryed to give a look here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/25209/how-do-i-sell-a-product-for-daz (is an old thread I know...) but seems they need to approve my works and maybe I have to pay something to become a publisher.
But if there is a way to simply create a "content structure" it will be the solution to my problem.
Do you know how to do that? Thanks!
No, but if the scene uses content that can be isntalled via Connect (and if your database is current) then DS will prompt you to install any missing products.
You might try this product:
https://www.daz3d.com/content-gatherer
Also this one:

Thanks to all of you guys, I will try soon!
I'm guessing he's wanting to take the scene to work and render it on his employer's workstation equipped with a Quadro, and thus doesn't have DS installed on it. Otherwise the smart thing to do would be to install DS on the workstation himself and avoid the question entirely.
Hi Doctor, yes you are right, but if I was supposed to install the whole DAZ's library it should be a challenging job (time and hard disk space).
And just because I changed some textures around the library, I absolutely need to export them.
But it was just a couriosity. Now the next step is to find a workstation, cause it takes 10 mins to render a frame, so I need to find a solution for my "5-minute-long" clip :-)
Here's a simpler solution.
Install your content to a thumb drive or external HDD.
Then you just have to map that drive, in daz studio, on the second workstation you'll be using.
I have a drive i do this with for weekend use when i'm away from the office..
FYI, you may want to check with your employer on installing additional software on a company computer before you do it, some companies take their IT security very seriously and can result in immediate termination.
And get the permission in writing.
