Daz Original V6 textures? No?

Other than the default texture that comes with V6, I can't find any Daz Originals. There's a couple for Gia, but I'm not up for spending almost 30 bucks to get that right now.
Kind of depressing there's no Daz original character/texture add-ons, that I see, for Genesis 2 V6. Was hoping to use coupon towards one.
C'mon Daz pretty please :( Seriously lacking!

DAZ originals for something new :-/ You'll have to wait for a PA. I honestly don't think DAZ does any of their own stuff any more. Even G2F is done by a PA not DAZ.
Nyssa?

DAZ doesn't do there own stuff anymore. All the DO you see in the store are ones that the PA sold outright to DAZ.
That's a nice one but also don't have the morphs so need a modeled-from-scratch character T_T
Nyssa and Norma use the basic female UV-map, Vianne has a V6 texture.
Hm Norma might be useful if the the face is, as it seems to be, its own morph and I can ignore the required body morphs. The reason I didn't lok at Vianne is that it has only very very basic option, and hardly any promo or variation.
Ariadne and Vianne are the best textures for Gn2/V6 belive me, you will feel embarassed how easy is make an awesome render with them with just one click, all other except the v6 defoult are bad, well.. are dull, i think they even dont have sss? The one exception is roxi http://www.daz3d.com/roxi-for-v6-and-gia although the promos are ugly its the most realistic texture and with one good light setup and different shape u can do wonders, the cons for some people may be that is too realistic that sometimes can seem ugly

Hmm you don't hold back do you? I try not to use words like "ugly" or "realistic" as measurements for art. For one thing, I have a pet peeve with people who assume that everyone's aim with 3D is realism- and that is not correct. While some strive for realism, with great effect, there's a vast and varied spectrum of art styles. I have said for myself that I come to art not to reproduce reality, but to simply make art that expresses, or pleases. So please, realism is great but because some are very realistic does not make them "better" than others- only more realistic. :)
I also do not need a "one click" set up- I generally make my own SSS especially since I can't use the newest version of SSS and revert to the older DS4 version of SSS (not the new ones).
Ariadne looks good but she's not a DO, and right now i'm frustrated with the Daz store... I want to browse ALL items for Genesis 2, not JUST new releases... but there seems no way to do that.... I go to shopping, i click on genesis 2 female...but its only searching new releases. How do I search the whole store..... ?? this shouldn't be so difficult >_<</p>
I've not had much luck with Vianne for some reason even though her skin is a bit darker which I like, I've not made anything I've liked from it. . I do like Roxis skin and have used this before with good results.
TBH I'm not a huge fan of Genesis 2- I'm perfectly happy with genesis. :) But I need a texture for Genesis 2 but limited funds! Sigh.
Btw I LOVE teh HFS morphs!!! Someday i want to get those awesome textures too but that depends on life and luck! Great products though!
I have several Elite textures bu the only one I really like is Lana. Other texture sets I like are from Raiya, and Virtual World, Sarsa, Silver, 3DU, and a lot more... i also very frequently use Poser characters but give them my own DS mats.
I too am surprised that I didn't use the elite textures more. I honestly didn't care for them that much.

What u say has no sense, of course you can make art with anything, even with shit, like Piero Manzoni did, so yeah u can do awesome renders with cartoon chars with flat textures. But u asking about textures and Ariadne and Viannne seems created to take profit of genesis 2, while for example Nysa i am not saying is bad, but if u put that texture in genesis u won't notice any diference.
You don't need make a click, but imagine if with one just one click u can create an awesome render, imagine what u can create when u work on a scene expending lot of time and make a good setup.
And yes realism doesn't mean good, as i said prolly roxxi is the most realistic but for lot of people would be ugly, why? Cos 90% of textures are not realisitc, are flawless top models, and if this is real life.... well better not say anything else.
I can only agree...damn, I do miss those Elite Textures.
In this shop, I guess for textures I'd usually go to Raiya or Morris, although I am not the biggest fan of their character morphs (there are exceptions, though). But the textures do hold up rather well.
Unfortunately, what they have done for Genesis 2 Female so far is not among my favorites from their shops
So yeah, right now there don't seem to be many DO textures. Maybe there will be more when the Girl 6 is released, though, for a cartoonish character like that I wouldn't expect the greatest texture work, unfortunately.
I wish texturers would take advantage of the Layered Image Editor. The base would be flawless and hairless. Want warts, freckles or a unibrow, add with LIE.

Ha I was going to say that earlier but got ruffled over implications that toonish or smoother less realistic textures are "ugly" or "not as good" or "lower quality" because that bothers me endlessly.... judging art by one criteria, realism, is pretty silly. No we don't all go for the air-brushed perfection, but textures that don't have every hair and every pore and every scar and crease is not lower quality- it is just a different style and no less valuable.
