Todays sale (Claim the night) shows exactly what's wrong with Daz lately, releasing Gen 2 so soon.
First 2 tiles of the sale page: Character for Gen2, Clothing for Gen 2. Second row of tiles: Same Character for Gen, Same Clothing for Gen 2.
Each with the same price.
I don't blame the content creator, but why the hell should there be 2 parallell lines of characters and clothing?
Daz always says "The new model can use all the old stuff too!!!!111"
During my workflow I always get annoyed when I wanted to use something I had in mind and would fit the scene perfectly and then have to get some substitution, cause I realize it was something for another figure and isn't compatible.

You probably should put that in a whole new thread instead putting in Gia's thread >.>
Hmm, I thought in this thread we discussed something about the new generation being too soon earlier, but maybe i took the wrong one.
Anyways, not going to make a new thread for a small rant thats not deserving of a single thread.
It probably should be in it's own thread, this thread is devoted to the discussion of Gia specifically, not G2F. Having said that I can respond by saying that it was the artist's decision to support both. Yes IgnisSerpentius could have just made a Genesis version and relied on Autofit to convert it to G2F, and users still have that option, but the rigging and the fit won't be nearly as good. The G2F version is going to fit, and pose way better on G2F than if you autofit the Genesis version to G2F.
Split from Gia thread.
I'm not sure how this shows G2F was "too soon" - the transitional period is always tricky, with any option (support only the older figure/support only the newer figure/support both in a bundle/support both in separate products) being a problem for some users.
