Well my Daz stuff has gobbled my drive I want to move the library or parts of it to another drive; is there a move my stuff button? lol I am sure it comes up that stuff needs to be moved. I also would need to tell Install manager to move the location...the program I think could find it through database manager...I think...waaa

Yes, just point your content folders within daz studio/DIMM to wherever you want to locate your new content folders, I have mine as TZO_Content in my K drive while my studio is installed in my I drive!
So I would just move them by copying the files or moving them outside of Daz? then use the program to locate the files? I was hoping the program would have a script to just move everything...
Yep, it's all manual, it's pretty simple, as long as you keep the content folder's file structure intact you can rename it/move it anywhere you want, just as long as you tell daz studio/DIMM where to find it! :)
thank you very much! I appreciate the information.
One gotcha: D|S and DIM don't talk to each other, so you have to make sure you enter the same content location paths into the settings of both programs. DIM installs downloaded content in the location specified in its settings. D|S looks for installed content in the location specified in its settings. If the two don't match, you get lots of lovely error messages.
Also note that DIM stores the downloaded .zip installers as well as the unzipped installed content (unless you tell it not to). If you don't change this setting as well, it could still be nibbling away at your free drive space without you noticing.
My pleasure, anytime!
Yeah, I have backups for the original uninstalled zip files in another location as well! I hate the fact that Daz studio has 3 library locations, as they're pretty redundant! Documents/public docs/and the content folder!
