Renders jpg_icon Disable?

When I make a render my folder fills with jpg_icon's of all my renders. Even if I have deleted them.
I really don't like the JPG icons they drive me nuts. Is there a way to disable this "feature" if you can even call it that...

Render to a new window and save them in a folder that you don't have defined as a render folder in DS.
Yes, set the save option to Folder instead of Library and go to the Render Library pane, open the option menu (right-click on the tab of click the button in the top corner), select Render Directory Manager, and set the path to somewhere out of the way that won't have any images.
