NGM V4 Don't Work

Has anyone else had this issue? It seems that, no matter what I try, the Naturel Gravity Morphs for V4 just don't work for the model. I've reinstalled everything several times, but with no success. Any ideas?? thanks

Daz Studio or Poser? How did you install?

  • It was Daz Studio, and I installed both ways. First with the installer and then manually, to make sure everything was done correctly.

Do you get the PowerLoader dialogue when you load Victoria 4 (the base figure, if you are using a saved scene please go back to the base for trouble-shooting)? If not, try holding down the ctrl key (cmd for Mac) when you double-click the file to load Victoria 4. If that still dowsn't open the dialogue use a file browser window to go to the folder you installed to and then in that /Runtime/Libraries/!DAZ and double-click the DzCreateExPFiles-v4.bat (or .command for a Mac) file and try again. If you are getting the Power Loader dialogue, is NGM listed and checked?

OK, thanks. To answer your question, No I don't get any dialogue window when I load V4. So I did what you said and the window shows the gravity morphs are not listed. What can I do to remedy this? thanks

  • It suddenly occurred to me. Is there a diff between V4 and V4.2 which would account for the problem?? thanks

  • The original version may not have used the ExP system, I'm a bit hazy n that, but assuming you are using 4.2 (or 4.1) you should be fine for that.

So, you got the PowerLoader but no NGM showed? How did you install, and did you install to the same base directory as the figure (all ExP expansions have to be in the same content directory as the base figure)?

  • I've tried manually installing and using the manager, both with no results. I'm a feared it has to do with the version that I have. Its pretty old. If that's the case, do I have to pay for an upgrade??

The version should be in the figure name - Victoria 4, Victoria 4.1, or Victoria 4.2. If you are suing an older version just redownload and reinstall, the version on the Daz servers will be the current.
