Hair stuck to shoulders after conversion (G8F to G8M)

Hey,
I used the Bronwyn Hair for Genesis 8 Female on my Genesis 8 Male character. When the auto-fitter asked me about the type of asset, I said "Hair - Shoulder length". It worked fine but the hair is distorted just above the shoulders and it doesn't move properly. When I try to use some of the preset morphs they don't work in the scene. The hair doesn't change as it usually would be seems "stuck" to the shoulders. Is that a common issue when using G8F assets on G8M?
Edit: I tried all of them now and some of the morphs work, but all morphs which would affect the front of the hair (like "Right front bend") don't.

This hair uses custom bones for movement and using autofit removed those, so it's normal the preset poses for movement don't work anymore.
To keep those bones you can try to use the transfer utility to do the conversion rather than just autofit, since it's the same figuree generation and the same rigging type this tutorial might work: https://www.deviantart.com/sickleyield/journal/Tutorial-Keeping-Bones-On-TU-Conversion-Fast-Way-449218737
Or you could try to simply reposition / scale the hait then parent it to G8M head rather than using autofit.
Thank you so much! I remembered the parenting trick myself a few minutes after posting this since this is how I usually used Genesis and Genesis 2 hair on Mike 4 in Poser but I'll try the bone conversion anyway.
