No DSON for Genesis Supersuit?

Oh my goodness, I just bought some stuff for Genesis Supersuit only to find out that NOTHING for the Genesis Supersuit supports DSON! What happened? I could have thought the supersuit for the latest model would be added to DSON before older bodysuits were!

You mean the DSON Importer fro Poser? The general assumption has been that the product is heavily reliant on DS procedural shaders, so getting it to work in Poser would require creating equivalent Poser Material Room set-ups. You can use Dimension 3D's import script to trigger the DSON Importer without needing companion files if you want to try it out.
The current version of the Supersuit isn't in the new DSON format, but is still in the .dsf format. This is because it was released before DAZ Studio 4.5. An update for the suit is in progress. I don't know if Dimmension 3D's importer works for old .dsf files. You could always re-save the Supersuit as .duf figure prop asset. Once you have done that you can create the poser companion files: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dson_importer/poser/userguide/dson_content_conversion/start
You will still have trouble with the materials since as Richard pointed out they are all procedural shader based.
D3D's script works on *.dsf files. You still need to have the DSON Importer installed though, obviously.

The supersuit imports and works beautifully with D3D's script. Setting both Genesis and the suit to subdiv 1 makes things look better (obviously). There is a downside though. It has so many material zones that using it in Poser makes you want to choke a b**ch.
I'm still learning Poser, so if there's a way to select multiple mat zones at once, I'm all ears. Doing the eyedropper in the matroom for each little zone is very tedious and extremely annoying.
I haven't tried resaving mats and shaping files for the suit in dsf/duf to try those though, so that may be an option if you have DS installed as well.
Smilie face creating unintentionally. lol
I've been converting the Supersuit to .duf and making Poser Companion Files, but I got busy with other stuff and stopped for a while. I'm trying to finish it now, and I'll give the materials a try when I get to them.
"An update for the suit is in progress."
This is good news indeed.
Note that DSON is a file format and does not necessarily mean DSON importer for Poser especially with the release of Carrara 8.5. Boojumbunn is a long time Carrara user. :) So I think he is likely referring to the file format not the Poser Plug-in.
I will note that even once the Supersuit is in DSON format, it is still not very Carrara or Poser friendly as DAZ Studio Shaders, which the presets are using, do not translate well and with more than 275 Material zones setting your own presets up for Carrara or Poser is definitely time consuming. (As it was to set them up in DS in the first place.)
That's fine with me. I don't use DSON. I've become bilingual ;-) . The Supersuit was one of the best things to happen to Genesis. Never had a great deal of interest in superheroes/super-heroines before that.
Ok, well that's not confusing at all. :-/ So the OP just means why isn't it in DUF?
