Help with speed of Studio 4.10

Hey all,
I recently re-installed my OS (Windows 10, same as before) to have a general clean out and speed up my PC. Everything is way faster, that is, apart from DAZ Studio!
My library is on the same external drive, with the same mapped drive letter. Literally, everything is as it was before the re-boot, which is why I cannot understand what is going on.
Basically, I had no issues prior to the re-install loading 4 or 5 figures into a scene, with moderately complex backgrounds. Since the re-install, some environments that I could cam around in prior to the re-boot now are very laggy, and I struggle to have more than one figure at a time with hair applied. I've noticed I can still have many figures in a scene, I just have to hide hairs to be able to move the cameras - I them simply make the hairs visible again to render.
Why would some environments that my PC handled without issue prior to the re-boot now run awfully? And also why does my PC now not appear to like bodily hair on figures of any sort? I'm puzzled! Also, whilst DForce simulation was never lightning fast, it also is noticeably slower now.
Note: I do not have the prewiew pane running, but I do have a 4 monitor setup with DAZ occupying all of 3 of them - the 4th monitor is used for GPU monitoring software and notes. Also, no hardware has changed whatsoever from the original setup.
System: Windows 10 Pro (64bit), AMD Ryxen 5 6-core Processor @3.20 GHz, 2x Gigabyte GTX 1070 GPU's (not SLI'd), 16GB Corsair DDR4 Memory, CoolerMaster 1000W Gold Edition(?) PSU (Anything I've missed??)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this has slowed my workflow down to a crawl. My PC should be able to run a lot better than it is doing, proven with the fact that is was before the re-install!
Thanks in advance,
John

Do you have hardware accelaration turned on in preferences? Sounds like your card isn’t utilized.
I'm not sure, I will check this and report back.
I'm no expert when it comes to fine tuning DAZ, so I am guessing this is where my issue lies somewhere in the settings! I will give it a shot.
Hi Paintbox,
Thank you so much! That's fixed the issue completely. I actually think its now running *better* than before the re-boot! :D
Hi. Just because, I thought I'd check my own settings for harware acceleration. I assumed it would be in the Edit/Preferences menu option, but I don't see it there. Where should I be looking for it? (4.10.0.123)
Thanks! :)
