North Korean Soldier

I need to create a North Korea soldier like this:

Im sure I can make the character face in Daz, but not sure about the uniform. Any suggestions on how I can get a uniform that looks like that?

    Hi Teriander

    There are three tools you can utilize to make new clothes. I will list from most expensive to least expensive.
    1) zBrush - which is absolute awesome!
    2) Marvelous Designer 2 - which has a more realistic approach and from a tailoring view point
    3) Hexagon - which inexpensive but yet effective and Daz Studio guys offer it at the content store.

    Which ever tool you decide of course will require learning how to use.

    zBrush and Hexagon have bridges where you can move characters to and from each application.

    If you have money to splurge get zBrush otherwise Hexagon is a wonderful alternative.

    Ok, but I was hoping a jacket like that was already created somewhere. So I don't have to reinvent the wheel. I don't mind paying for the jacket or for someone to create it. Saves me time from doing it myself. But if there's no alternative, then I'll just use ZBrush. Thanks for the feedback!

    It's a bit early to give up. Many users just now starting the Day, and many have not started the day yet. I'm a night owl.

    Well there is this at Rendo http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/in-hms-service/65896. The one hat is shaped close to the Korean soldier's hat. (Edited... Oops... on further inspection looks like the uniform jacket shown on the promos is not included in the product)

    Queries like this will often get more response if posted in the Commons rather than the New User area, as the members who post there will have more knowledge of what is available.

    Nothing to do with permissions; the only non-private forum you won't be able to access is the one for Platinum Club members. I've noticed the forum software frequently takes a little while to show a new post I've just entered, although replies to existing posts show immediately — probably one of the (many) reasons DAZ is working on getting new forum software that actually works in the not too distant future.

    The outfit is perfect for scenes needing officers, but can also easily be retextured to double for the uniforms of security guards, police or even a parking attendant.

    I made a police uniform for it, in my freebee pile at rendo. I love that one, There are a of military stuff at OnTarget3D btw.
