dForce - Simulating Multiple Objects

Hi there - I've been experimenting a lot with dForce as of late, and one thing I haven't been able to find any info on is how to go about simulating multiple objects in a single scene. For example, I have a dress that I want to simulate, as well as hair. Is this possible? Simply setting "Freeze Simulation" to "On" after completing the first object does not work. When I simulate the second object, it resets everything back to ground zero with the first. In addition, if I hit the "Clear" button, as most of us often do (because who simulates perfectly the first time around, haha), I lose everything I did with the first object (even if I have "Freeze Simulation" set to "On"). Am I going about this the wrong way, or is there some magic button that I'm missing?
Thanks!

Freeze Simulation should protect the existing items when you simulate another. You can also simulate both at once, using the Layer setting in Surfaces to specifiy which is on top (higher value).
I usually get one object at a time set up, simulate that, then add dForce modifiers to the other items, and simulate as I go to ensure nothing's going to explode.
Simulating multiple items requires you to set your Collision Layers properly. Hair hits clothing, so clothing touching the body gets Collision Layer 1, Hair would get one layer above that.
If the hair is short enough to not touch the clothing, they can both be on Layer 1.
"Freeze Simulation" did work. I didn't realize that though it looks like it was reset when you run the simulation (for the next item), it will revert back to it's own simulated state when the process is done. First I simulated the hair from the current pose, and now I'm trying to get a dress to simulate just the right way from an animation. Trying to simulate everything at once just makes my brain hurt, lol!
Thanks for the help!
