Have you checked that the Render Engine is set to 3Delight in Render Settings?
Yes, of course. I have used this for a long time. The surfaces does not change. Shady toon and cartoon classic does not work. It seems like more have this problem, Everything works except shadytoon and cartoon classic which is the most important ones.
But to be honest, the rest looks bad. It does not look like cartoon at all in windows 10.
I have Win10 and PWToon.
It works fine. Here's Cartoon Classic.
Ok, but what is wrong then? It neither works for me nor the other guy that is going to update a product for it. What graphic card do you have?
Do you have windows 10 64 or 32?
Graphics card doesn't matter, 3DL doesn't use graphics cards to render. I have Win10 64 bit
Alright, this is seriously odd... I can to reinstall and see again, but it is very odd.
While 3DL doesnt use the graphic card to render the way Iray does, I think 3DL is still dependent on the OpenGL functionality of the card. I wonder if pwToon is requiring a certain level of OpenGL functionality? In the environment settings area you can have D|S query the graphics system for its base functionality. Updating the OEM driver, epecially if the current one is a Windows vanilla version, might help. Then again, it might do nothing! But we never know until we try them.
Not speaking for Daz, but while the company may own the product, I don't believe they created it, or that they maintain it beyond what is already out there.
3delight does not depend on OpenGL for rendering. The Daz shaders have OpenGL shaders for the viewport, but I don't think any of the add-ons - including pwToon - do, you have to render to see their effect and that render depends only on the CPU for processing.
Windows 10 64 bit & an intel i5-3230u GPU for 7 years ago with integrated intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU & all pwToon shadrs work fine for me.
