How to Prepare DAZ Animated Characters for use in Unity(3D Game development app) ?
Hello everybody.
so i can successfuly import scenes and stuff into Unity.
But i don't really know how to export and create Animated DAZ characters?
AND PS no i'm not doing commercial games, it's just games for myself and my family in my house.
Anyways,
So Yeah. I tried importing Assets (DS 4 animation of V4 exported as FBX using DAZ 4) and the character does get imported in Unity but no matter if i follow tutorials that do the same thing, my characters don't animate.
They do seem to animate in the Preview little screen that Unity has in one of the tabs, but it doesn't animate in the main game. at all.
I'm using Unity 4.1.5 for Mac. The 4.2 mac installer doesn't work and it produces a nonworking Installer so i went back to 4.1.5.
Macos X here 10.6.8

Well guys i found out how to fix it.
You just have to select LEGACY instead of the other type..now it animates :)
Now my other question is how would i make crowds.
Would i need to use only low poly Poser characters like the LowRes products?
Guys. Sorry but
i'm back. And it's not working.
I export a V4 with Jersey Dress 2.... I do this on Studio 4
Export as FBX
and then, in Unity the dress no longer conforms to her body.
And the eyes of V4 no longer have correct textures and the eye lashes don't work either.
What am i supposed to do to get it to work?
Why isn't the conforming clothes working?
