I love this! I just bought all the stonemason forest and wooded looking areas during his last sale just so I could do foggy woods with them, now this comes out. Everything in one package, and the trees are epic looking. Insta buy for me!

A test render I stopped after an hour - still grainy. The set loads pretty fast, but the render gives the GPU (GTX 1080) a pretty good workout.

There's a lot to explore in that forest :-)

    Nice render, yes

Yes, as with all true volumetric light, it takes some time to calculate all the bounces of the light rays inside the cube. I've found 5,000 samples usually suffices to get most of the grain out. Some of my promos were about 5,000 to 10,000 samples.

A tip: You can also use the "Remove Noise" filter in photoshop to remove the grain (also adds to the dreamy effect a bit).

it's a wonderful environment.  definitely takes some time to explore and to render.  but it's time well spent.  :)

i stopped this render at 2471 iterations.

Just playing around with the Volumetric light, here I set SSS to 0.001.  5000 iterations took 4hr 45 min.
