Unable to export Genesis 3 Rocker clothing to CR2 - Results have holes

Hi.  I just tried to export a couple items from Genesis 3 Rocker to cr2's, but had some unexpected results.

- Exported top has holes in it

- Skirt loads (can see joints in scene tab), but no skirt in viewport

I was able to successfully export an article of clothing from a different Gen 3 product.  Would someone be willing to gut check my settings (see attachments) before I submit a bug report?  Thank you

  • Genesis 3 and 8 aren't supported in Poser, and so add-ons may not have Poser-friendly grouping of the geometry. If that is the root of the problem (you can test by seeing if hiding teh bone groups from the Tool Settings pane with the Geometry Editor active) then regrouping might help. I doubt there's any point in a bug reprot, since Daz has been clear that the Genesis 3+ items are not intended for or supported in Poser (even with the DSON Importer).

Thank you Richard.  Until now, I've been buying genesis clothing, exporting as CR2 and then converting to V4 using Cross Dresser.  Are you aware of any other ways to convert Genesis 3 clothing to V4.  If you'd like me to start a new thread for this, I can.

Oh, wow.  After running the top through Cross Dresser, the holes in the top are gone.

If CrossDresser regroups the mesh, which would seem likely, then that would resolve any grouping incompatibility in the original as long as it didn't confuse the CrossDresser import itself.
