DAZ assets installation

OK here's what i have. I have a D-drive where i have told DAZinstallManager to install my new assets to. Assets I download form Renderocity for instance i unzip to here also.
Now for some reason i have a Onedrive DAZ installation folder. In DAZ itself i made sure it grabs the assets from my D-drive.
I have a feeling the annoying "Duplicate assests found" error i keep getting when opening a save file with a Gen8 character is a conflict between the OneDrive installed files and the D-drive one's.
Do i need teh OneDrive assets? Can i get rid of them or copy over to my D-drive install folder rather?

Someone else had a Onedrive folder. it's not soemthing DS or DIM do, I suspect it's Windows doing something you didn't realise it would do as a result of setting up Onedrive (or simply using a Microsoft ID to log-in). In any event, I doubt you are getting a duplicate assets error - duplicate formulas is more likely, and wouldn't be a result of a doubled up content folder even if DIM and DS are seeing the Onedrive location. If it is Duplicate Formulas that's usually down either to an error in a single product or to two products trying to use the same name for a custom property.
Ths Richard... mmm the Duplicate Formulas is a bit annoying but not hindered me. The oneDrive files are like 17.1GB in size so i think ill get rid of them or move for now and see what happens...
thx
Check your Onedrive settings - it may be mirroring your documents automatically (I don't have it set up so not sure where that would be).
Yeah ive moved the files from OneDrive things are still working, still getting teh duplicate errors as you have suspected and ive stopped the OneDrive backup options in my Windows settings and in DAZ deleted the folder option.
THx
OK, after loading the figure go to Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File, the search from the end for Duplicate. That should give you one of the sources (if it's a name coflict there may be another, which won't be listed).
