Everything Connect Downloads Today Is Not Actually Installed

Essentially most new purchases, primarily large files and popular items do that progression animation for a few seconds then switched to downloaded. When I switch tabs to view installed it's there but with the update icon in the upper left corner of the thumbnail, but I am unable to update. Also the product won't load and typically has broken thumbnails. Has anyone else seen this? The configuration is solid. Is this a server load sharing issues? I've ran into this many, many times and stil haven't gotten a straight solution. I have opened tickets on this. Just asking if anyon else is experiencing this.

    Do you think it could be some issue between the ISPs? Did you try anything large by chance?

    Not enormous, 49MB.

    Can you try the latest Stonemason? Generally this tends to happen on products 500MB or more but once it happens to one it happens to the rest. The just breeze through the download process in a few seconds so obviously there's some sort of issue somewhere that's confusing DS.

    heh, with my bandwidtht hat would be a slow test (and the Gothic Library is in my cart waiting for check-out). I will try last weeks Winterblack thing from the PC, I think that was quite large.

    Please try again, the system has been taken aside and given a gentle talking-to. The product I tried now works, at least.

    Thanks Richard. I tried it at home on a different isp and pc and it sorta worked but didn't get quite all the way. Going to try again in a few days. This time more of it worked but some geometry seemed to be not completely there in so much as it showed up like grey blocks

    I am having a similar problem with UltraHD IRAY HDRI With DOF - Sunny Beaches Pack 1. The product installs with Daz Connect, and the log file says the installation was successful, but some of the HDRI files were not really installed. When I try to use the presets for those missing HDRI files, DS pops up a missing file error. I will submit a help request.

    Richard, did everything load for you? Did you have a look around after loading. After countless installs I still had issues with large parts of gthe geometry coming in as blocks. I did multiple manual installs as well. Evenytually I went in and reimported the missing obs and everything put into place. I tend to think this installer has a defect. The issues exists with the 3Delight and Iray presets. Have a look if you can.

    No blocks and no errors, though I didn't have tiem to play extensively.

    It's so strange because the geometry that's showing up missing is actually in the proper path. It's like the reference to it in the preset is wrong.

    This was fixed in response to my help request, but it doesn't show up as an update in Daz Connect. I was advised to uninstall and reinstall to get the fix.

    I did that multiple times on 2 different machines on 2 different ISP. Still had to do the fix manual.
