my "U" key may never have worked on my Kindle.
    I would never have known.
will try it at Hungry Jacks hopefully will not need to type a U
only need to go to wifi to deregister and register to my SIL, can put books on it via usb from computer

    now this is stupid
I cannot use wifi on my Kindle because the WAP2 passerkey on my modem has a "U" in it and my U button does not work.

it is an utter PITA to reset my factory set passerkey and as soon as I have a power outage it will go back anyway.
involves dragging my laptop out and using a cable as PC in another room.
I have done it via remote accessing the modem but I forgot how.

...keys on my seven year old notebook are beginning to fail. the back arrow key is completely out, the "4" and "6" keys rarely work anymore, and both the "E" key (the most widely used letter in the English language) and "R" keys are beginning to go flaky.

Fortunately as I was passing by a neighbouring apartment building, someone put out a bunch of stuff for free. One of the items in the box was old an Apple extended keyboard with a USB connection. Took it home plugged it in, and it works fine. I even have a ten key pad now.

That is like my little Chihuahua Speedy was. He traumatized a Weinmareiner so bad one day that the big dog would cross the street to bypass our house on its daily walks.

I think all the kitties in boxes got shut up and sent by UPS.

We used to have border terriers. They are Big dogs packed up in little parcels (13 inches at the shoulder). The oldest one we had really had big ideas, he fell madly in love with the Rhodesian ridgeback that lived over the road (more than twice as tall). However he was totally frustrated in his love, because we refused to buy him a step ladder,
